by | Sep 19, 2018 | Writing & Journal Prompts

Avast, Matey! Secret maps! Treasure chests! Hidden lagoons! In round-robin writing style, use these words to help your family create an exciting, silly, or funny adventure story! With this month’s free printable prompt, your children think up a pirate adventure using the word bank provided. If they desire, your kids can then use the lined writing paper to record and illustrate their story.

Round Robin Pirate Adventure Printable Writing Prompt

As a family, think up your own creative adventure using as many of these words as possible.

Directions

  1. Cut apart tiles.
  2. Choose one person to begin the story.
  3. Take turns picking a new word and adding to the story until each player has had a turn and all the words are used up. Players must continue the story by drawing a new tile randomly and using that word or phrase to continue the story.
