Would this program work for teaching students with dyslexia to write stories?

Meleasa: We have heard from a number of parents who love using WriteShop with their dyslexic children. For example, Marianne Sunderland, who blogs at Homeschooling with Dyslexia, writes:

“Love this program that we began late last Spring. It is perfect for the dyslexic learner because of its explicit, systematic, multisensory instruction. What’s more…my kids like it!”

Each lesson is broken into manageable chunks. It’s very doable. Parents are encouraged to help with the writing so kids can concentrate on coming up with ideas rather than on writing those ideas down. It’s all very bite-sized and incremental, which helps a lot.
