Happy Thankgivening

 

Today’s lesson is on compound words. A compound word  is formed by combining two words together to make one new word.

It’s simple, really. Thanks + giving = Thanksgiving

Now, you try it.

Thanks + giving = Thankgivening

Um, no.

Let’s try another one, shall we?

Thanks + giving = Tanksgiven

*Sigh* — I give up.
